For the best results, we recommend sanding with a light touch since Alumilite resin is softer and sands faster than other resins. This type of resin is also easier to turn than clear base resins, making it perfect for novice turners. For pros, these blanks can be turned even faster than typical resin blanks. Despite its softness, Alumilite resin can easily be polished to a high gloss finish. Simply sand it up to a high grit or use micro mesh pads, and finish it off with some plastic polish or a buffing wheel.
